I just finished my first meet of the season. Things went as planned… but a very optimistic day. Thanks to “Coach Wevens” - Whitney Evans, for her help as always. Whitney and I are off to Seattle next weekend, and I hope to improve on todays performance. Thanks to everyone that showed up, it was very special to have your support there!

Next week Tuesday, be sure to tune into CTV, as I will be part of a feature that looks at Edmonton entrepreneurs under the age of 30 that are pursuing their dreams while giving back to the community… something about young people helping to shape the city of Edmonton.
The five-day special also features four other great Edmontonians, whom I am proud to call friends. The future looks bright!

If anyone wants to come by, I am jumping at the University of Alberta at 1:30pm at the Alberta Provincial Championships. It has been a while since I last jumped in Alberta, and I am looking forward to putting forth a good jump to start the season and journey to the games!
My season takes me to Guadeloupe, Jamaica, Martinique and Brazil in the month of May… not too shabby… ill post pics and videos as they arrive!

Woot Woot…
Without getting into too much detail, my coach Linda Blade and I have parted ways. We no longer work together, and this drive to the games will be done alone… ish. I still have the support of many people, and the expertise of several more so this change comes with some excitement for my new training strategies and environment. Read the rest of this entry »
