The Entertainer
Lipscombe life as an entertainer begun moments after he left the womb. However, on a more professional level the year was 1994. He appeared opposite the great Sidney Potier in a CBS mini-series named “Children of The Dust”. In recent years he has also worked with such artists as Alec Baldwin, Anthony Hopkins, and Samuel L. Jackson, to name a few.
Jesse also spends much of his time writing and directing. He has written a full-length screenplay (which is in the wings, waiting on the right production team), a number of theatrical plays, a stage musical, and a book of profundities, a few children’s books and hundreds of songs.
As one third of the R&B group Jaeness (pronounced J.N.S.) he recorded the theme song for the feature film “Halo”, and a song for the VH1 film “Man in the Mirror” (in which he was also an actor).
Lipscombe also spent the spring of 2006 crooning it up on Canadian Idol as one of the top 100 finalists and June of 2007 will see the release of the summer blockbuster “Resurrecting The Champ” in which he appeared along side Samuel Jackson and Josh Hartnett.
