I ended up jumping with one of my old college high jumping mates from Morehouse.  That was very cool! I won the competition with a jump of 2.22m.  All and all I felt great, but had some variables that were out of my control. I was slipping, a lot, on take off, because the ground was soft and loose.  So when the bar moved to 2.27m, I borrowed my partners shoes (he has the same size, but a different brand) anyway, good shoe, but odd switch mid-way through the comp.  I missed all three attempts at World, Pan-am, and Olympic standard, but it is only a matter of time until everything clicks!  I will have video up soon!
