I am sitting in my hotel hours before I compete in the most competitive field yet this season. Coming off a decent performance a couple of weeks ago I know I have a lot more left in the vertical tank. I have had an interesting prep week coming into this competition - things have been filled with dealing with pushing our training to new limits, and finding ways to deal with a silly foot bruise that gives me some painful problems.

So I felt the need to air my pre-competition jitters, so that i don’t take them into the competition with me… so bear with a brother. The weather is cold and wet, a big change from my last meeting places in the Caribbean…lol… poor me, right?! Ok, that’s all I got… Ok.. phew.. now I feel better…. it is time for me to go through my regular pre-comp routine, now that I can focus on jumping! Man, getting it out..even if it is to a computer screen, sure does clear the conscience! I’ll be back with results soon! Thinking high thoughts!

This just in - I ended up second after a jump off with two others jumpers. The height was 2.19m, given the quality of competition, I am very happy with my ability to compete.
